Crown Reduction

Reducing the whole tree canopy for improved light and shape.

A crown reduction is an involved process where the arborist climbs each and every branch to reduce its length and we always prune back to a suitable growth point to ensure your trees remain healthy and aesthetically pleasing. Some trees have growth spurts in certain limbs and we can tailor our pruning process to limit some future growth and maintain a healthy shape for longer.

The managing director, Will Ayers, specialises in reductions and has worked on some absolutely huge trees. He's also a perfectionist and won't stop climbing until both the client and he are completely happy with the work.
